Has never leaked, keeps my coffee hot for hours, perfect size for cup holder as well as backpack side pocket. Think I'll get one for the whole family😃.

This is by far one of the best water bottles I’ve owned. I already had the 25 oz. bottle that I really liked. But, the 17 oz. is great for day to day. First it holds a standard 16.9 oz bottle water and keeps it cold for hours. Also, love the design for sipping beverages that don’t end up running down your chin. And, the flip lock lid really does keep it secure if you tend to throw the water bottle in a bag, as I often do. Also love the loop handle that fits securely to the top when you don’t need it. However, the greatest thing I love about my Takeya water bottle is the excellent customer service I received when I called with the slightest of concerns. My inquiry was handled pleasantly and timely.

I have owned a Takeya 32oz water bottle for several years, and I love it, but I decided I wanted something a little smaller that would fit in my cars cup holder, so I picked up this 17oz travel bottle for me (and a 24oz travel bottle for my hubby baby). We absolutely love them! We got the stellar product construction that we are used to from Takeya, and the lockable travel lid is perfect for “no look open” drinking. Did I mention that you can lock it down also? Another perk. No spills. Added bonus: the bottles are sleek and beautiful. I highly recommend!

I have a ton of different water bottles from many different brands. This one has quickly become my favorite go to bottle. It holds enough while still being in the smaller end, which I love. You can fit it almost anywhere. I take it everywhere with both hot and cold beverages and it keeps the right temperature for hours.

Great bottle...until the lid breaks for no reason!

I love this bottle. We have several and I use certain ones for coffee. I love that they really hold their temperature well and that I can lock it and keep it it in my purse without worrying about leaks or the cap opening. Yet it's still easy to drink from. Once, I dropped the bottle and the lid broke. Bummer. Only bottle this happens with--yes, I've dropped other bottles and never had the lid break. But I thought it was a fluke. Since then I've been super careful and another lid broke, for no reason, just gently opening it to take a sip, just yesterday. It hadn't been dropped, no trauma. Yet the little latching part just snapped off when the button was pushed to open the lid. I came here to see about a replacement lid and they're only available in black. But if they are this unreasonably fragile, then what's the point? Really disappointing. Takeya should really figure out a design that allows for locking and easy sipping, and is hearty enough to not break.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
