So excited.......until.....

Own several Takeya products in different styles and sizes, almost all Blush color. I was thrilled to receive the 17 oz. Traveler for Christmas. Perfect size for traveling with tea in the morning, my others are all too big. Unfortunately my excitement didn't last long. After just a couple of uses the locking tab on the lid snapped off. I'm not even sure how it happened. I do not abuse any of my bottles, or use them daily for that matter. I've never had any issues with any of my other Takeya products. Needless to say, I'm disappointed. I wonder how it would hold up to daily use and abuse from someone tougher than me.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have several Takeya products in different styles and sizes, all the Blush color. I've been really happy with all of them, they've held up really well. I was thrilled to get the 17 Oz Traveler for Christmas. It is the perfect size. All of my others are bigger than I need for tea in the morning. I was shocked, and disappointed, when the locking tab on the lid broke after just a few uses. I don't abuse my bottles. Can't think of anything I did to cause it. Can't imagine how this tab holds up to someone that uses their Traveler heavily.

I like the other Takeya bottles I’ve gotten in the past. Got this one on sale. Love the color, but 1) feels heavier that the others, and 2) unlike the others this one does not say it can go in the dishwasher. Big drawback. Won’t get this model again.

All travelers can go in the dishwasher except the Rose Gold color.

I love these bottles. I have 4 of these. My kids can't open the screw top bottles and I hate the ones with a straw because they get all moldy inside.this is perfect. Easy to clean. Keeps water cold or tea hot all day.
