Old Blendtec burned out (10 years about 2k uses) - bought an X5 - night and day. Makes the Blendtec look like a toy. Perfect nut butters, smoothies, and just about anything. Ultra stable on counter. Tamper is a good thing. Easy to clean. X5 gives you best of both worlds- easy presets as well as adjusting knob - recommend without any reservations.

I have been dreaming of getting this blender for ages but I cousins afford it. Long story short, there was a sales going on during holiday period and I took advantage of it. No regrets afterward. I do a lot of blending as a Nigerian. Someone introduced Buchimix blender to me as an alternative but didn’t really go for it. After getting the newest Vitamix blender, I did test run of the blender using the same food/spices but with different settings and posted it in my YouTube channel.

I have had this blender for roughly a month and I use it everyday. I had a Bullet blender before and the Ascent X5 puts it to shame! Every smoothie I have made has turned out perfect and there is nothing this blender cannot chop. I love the preset modes and the clean function! Never thought it would be this easy to clean a blender. Overall, if you use it everyday it’s well worth the $$$! Just buy it and you will not regret it!

I had an older model that was still going strong but I moved that to a second location. I wish the new one A) had a bigger container like the older one, B) the container was made of glass and not plastic. Otherwise works the same and is excellent
