48oz container & tamper holder are game changers!

It's insanely powerful, I used it to make almond butter right when I got it and it worked great! I love the 48 oz container because it's big enough to blend a big soup for a group dinner but also small enough to blend my daily smoothies that I just make a portion size for myself. The tamper holder is great and I use the tamper a lot more now because it's always right there. I got the white version which looks classic and modern in my kitchen. I love it!

It takes 2-3 smoothie cycles for it to properly blend. Also the container moves off center on the base a lot while blending.

Hi there! Vitamix containers are not designed to lock into place. Therefore, it is completely normal for the container shift slightly while on the base. When you turn the unit on, you will notice that the container may shift slightly to the right or the left. This is intended, as the motor base is aligning with the container for optimal performance. If you feel more comfortable, you may place your hand on top of the lid while you blend to better secure the container. However, do not press down on the container in an attempt to “lock” it in place, as doing so could cause damage the motor. Also know that the programs are a suggested time, typically for a single serve smoothie, you may have to blend longer when making a large batch like in this photo. Using you tamper while blending will also speed up the process. Please call us at 1-800-848-2649 and we would be happy to troubleshoot the machine and provide more blending tips.

Best blender I've ever owned

The blender is very sturdy. The powerful motor and sharp blades effortlessly pulverize even the toughest ingredients, leaving no chunks or gritty textures. Bonus feature is that it’s self cleaning.
Vitamixes in general are the best of the best when it comes to blenders. It's a must-have appliance for anyone who values healthy eating, culinary creativity, and long-lasting quality.

Great self cleaning feature.

I actually made one of the recommended recipes and it was great, kids even liked it. Perk is top is also a great shot measurer. Up next cocktail hour. 4 of out 5 stars mainly for value to price.

-I personally like the look and think it’s a statement piece in my kitchen.
-Very powerful and was able to make my smoothies with ease and not leave any chunks behind. I enjoy making soups with it and it’s handled every task perfectly.
-The machine was about as quiet as I expected based on other blenders I’ve used.
-Cleaning up is also very simple with the self cleaning option.

The noise level is decent and I like the cleaning ease, and the blender cup is plastic but thick! So you could definitely tell this is expensive!! Great blender!

Excellent performance mixer for life

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have old vitamin ( V1200) that I loved using. Vitamix is an investment and I have been contemplating to get one. This is a wonderful opportunity to try near version of vitamix that comes with many functionality. Main thing I love using is 1. To make smoothies. 2. Cleaning. This is a total game changer!! I love it so much I use it every day since I got it all you need to do is to set a dial to option and let it work on its own. The cleaning is amazing. You don’t have to touch anything. After all, it is the vitamix. I want to try ice cream option this weekend and soup for cooler weather. The accessory stand is a brilliant idea and yes, you can do ok either side. Though container size is bit smaller than the old one, I do not think it will impact on capacity much. Overall, the speak design and the preprogrammed option is a winner!!
