[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am so happy with the Evolution 1 HP Garbage Disposal. This item is heavenly compared to other garbage disposals I have had. It is really powerful. I can't believe how fast it grinds up and disposes of things we put down the drain. We have not experienced any problems with jams. It is really quiet compared to other disposals I've used. It does make some noise but it is not very loud. Installation was straightforward and the included directions were clear and helpful. Everything about this garbage disposal just shows its high quality from the materials to the design to its function. I am really excited to have this great garbage disposal installed in my kitchen and I highly recommend it.

Lifesaver in the kitchen

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] From start of installation to the finish plug in was so simple and non time consuming. We went from a bulky setup to a sleek and efficient set up . The power this thing holds is impressive. A lot quieter than the one we had before as well . I’m very impressed and so glad to have this installed in our home.

Easy quality

This disposal was really easy to install and fairly priced. I replaced a 10 year old unit that had locked up, due to little use. This unit has the same power, but it’s noticeably quieter and is all stainless.
Pros: quality material, easy to install. 20 minutes

Good but much louder than previous unit

This item replaces an older unit from the same Insinkerator series. We also have another one from a few years ago (still working great) in a different house. Although the other two are quite quiet, for some reason this new one is incredibly loud. If I hadn't watched the plumber install it, I would think it was installed incorrectly because of how horrible it sounds. Until this one, I had thought this series was hands down the best. Perhaps their "update" wasn't such a good one. Or perhaps I got a problem unit. In any case, it is disappointing. It does seem to work well.

Sometimes something hard and small can get wedged in the grind components, causing the unit to run louder than normal. It is quiet, powerful, easy to install (however, I only replaced mine existing Badger .25 HP and used existing bracket). It's so quiet I thought I installed it wrong but everything seems to be working properly.
Pros: noise level, appearance, power

We needed a new disposal after the original insinkerator wore out after 4 years of hard use. This new machine has more power, and design features that will ensure long life and no clogged drains for many years to come. The quiet running is an added bonus. I highly recommend this disposal.
Pros: grinds anything (bone rated), quiet, easy to install
