Very strong

I'm not sure what my old disposable had for power but it wasn't this. I couldn't be happier with this purchase. I just wish I would have purchased one sooner

Quietest disposal ever

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband installed the 1.0 hp Evolution disposal fairly quickly and easily. Our old one had died two years ago and we just hadn't bothered to replace it. This one came along and we thought we'd give it a try. Installation took about 30 minutes since the sink and cabinet were already equipped for a disposal. At first when we tried it, I thought something was wrong with it because I didn't hear the annoying clackity clack we'd grown accustomed to. Then when I realized that's just how quiet it is, I was shocked. The Evolution is a workhorse on top of being so noiseless. It grinds down leftovers with ease and never leaves anything hanging around. No smell, no noise, it's as perfect as a disposal can be.
Pros: quiet, powerful

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When we bought the house there was no garage disposal. We went a year without one and we are sooooo happy to have one again. Can you get by without one? Yes. Is it much easier and more convenient to have one? Absolutely!

Quiet and Efficient

We were very impressed with how quiet this disposal is and really there is just a low hum which is barely even noticeable. Our old disposal was super loud and clunky. It really had a hard time cutting through bigger bits of food but this disposable cuts through effortlessly.

Excellent food disposal unit.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For me, this was a simple unit to install. Took less than 1 hour with removing the old unit. I would assume that most people can install this unit without needing to hire a plumber or handyman.
This disposal works well for our family. We try not to grind up to many harsh things (like bones, egg shells or coffee grounds) but it is nice to know we have the ability to crush occasional bones or shells that end up in the sink.
This disposal is SO much quieter than the old 3/4 HP that was under the sink, so that is a huge plus when running it. It was also smaller than our old 3/4 HP disposal!
Pros: quiet, ez install, compact/small

Powerful and quiet

My kitchen sink loves it

I’m so happy I chose this evolution insinkerator garbage disposal for my sink. The disposal itself looks very sturdy and good quality. My husband is my handyman and does everything in the house. It didn’t take a lot of time for him to install it and I’m so impressed with it. It doesnot make any noise. It is very strong and gets the food grind smoothly and quickly. I donot dispose food or any items in my sink, but sometimes you cannot help it and now I can not worry about it. I’m pretty sure this will last us a long time. I recommend this to everyone.
