[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just bought an upgrade from my 2 older OMRON blood pressure equipment. Love the easy set up and use and now can use my iPhone for tracking results. The 5 series works great for me and my wife. Suggestion: add a tracking card to record our test results. Like to show doctors when we go to them.

Takes patience

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bluetooth pairing is tricky and once figured out takes patience each time to sync reading with cell phone. Took to my doctor’s visit to calibrate with doctor’s official wall unit. Readings kinda matched. Otherwise I like the 5 Series BP monitor.

We bought this about a week ago and it works very well, is compact, easy to read screen, facilitates 2 people stored readings.

Keep changing batteries......

This is my second monitor same model number. Every few readings I have to change my batteries or it won't work. I test the batteries and they are all good. I took one back and ordered another one. Both did the same thing. So disappointed with Omron. Always used their monitors. Now I have to find a different company. So sad...
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

If you want decent readings, this is for you. If you only want 2 readings witnout an error, this isnfor you. If you LOVE changing batteries, this is for you. If you want consistent usefulness, maybe not.

Battery life very short

Don't buy unless you intend on buying a lot of batteries. I've had it about a year. I get about six to seven blood pressure readings out of it and then the battery is down to half and very soon they have to be replaced. I do make sure that I turn it off after every reading.
