rarely ever works no matter how many times you unplug and replug, change the batteries doesnt matter it barely ever works.

Completely inaccurate and a waste of money

I bought an Omron 5 series as recommended by my MD, and I am so sorry I did. It has been giving systolic measurements that range 20-24 higher compared to those on my old one, anywhere from 10-20 higher on diastolic. Plus it's been inflating up to around 220 at the beginning of the measurement, which is pretty painful. My old one correlates well with the professional models in my MD's office, but has gotten old and I often have to do a remeasure, which is why I wanted to replace it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have the extra large cuff for everyone in family but the BAR in the cuff causes bruises when pumped to tight.

I am so happy with this product. I can monitor at home and report it to my doctor. Very easy to use and accurate readings every time. It is very reliable.
