Great & Powerful AC Unit

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Keystone 8000 BTU 115V window air conditioner with 3500 BTU supplemental heat capacity is a fantastic powerful unit that anyone would be proud to own! It's specifically made for rooms 3505 SQ ft with a window with a Ht 16.5 in & a W 26.8 inches . The adjustable , pleated window mounting kit is included making installation a breeze. It's a very quiet unit with 3 cooling speeds, 3 fan speeds & 1 heat speed. An adjustable 4 way air-flow direction allows you to control the direction of the cool air with 4 way louvers. Electronic controls with LED display allows you to easily select options with the touch of a button. A temp sensing remote allows you to control temp from across the room . A programable 24 hr on/off timer cools on your schedule. In the event of a power outage an auto-restart feature saves your settings for when the power is restored. There is even an easy clean , tilt-out mesh filter with a check filter alert on the unit for easy maintenance . The 7 ft power cord uses the standard 115V electrical outlet. The installation of the unit is easy & took no time at all. The unit produces a great amount of cooling but is not meant to be used as a primary heat source. I was provided the opportunity by Influenster to install & use this air conditioner for free in exchange for an honest review. I can honestly say this Keystone AC unit is a fantastic little unit that provides a tremendous amount of cooling for such a small unit & it is also very quiet . Great AC & a great buy!!

Heats and cools quickly!

Keystone Window air conditioner with supplemental heat capability.
This unit is a Beast! We installed this in our little cabin up north and it is perfect for supplemental heat that we needed with just a wood burner in the cabin. The air conditioner worked perfectly it was blowing cool air in no time. It is impressively quiet when it’s on. It’s a good looking unit and appears to be made very well. And don’t forget there is also a programmable remote control.
This unit does require a 230v electric plug in.
And this unit is pretty heavy, weighing in at 117 lbs.
We are impressed with this unit, we know we will use it for many years to come!

Heavy, large, 230 volt plug. Not energy efficient

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Keystone 18000/18400 window air conditioner is very large abd very heavy. Hard to install due to the size and weight you need a few people to install.The power supply is a special 230 volt so you need a special plug abd breaker to use. Plug not compatible with average usa outlet. It comes with a remote for easy operation. It has 3 cooling speeds and 3 fan speeds, decent airflow, semi quiet. This is not a economic friendly air conditioner

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This air conditioner until looks very nice and has worked very well for us. It does weigh a lot but we were able to move it around and pick it up to put in the window. The installation was very easy and it seems to be great!
