I stepped up from a zfold 3. What a great improvement over the old fold. It is considerably lighter and runs perfectly. The switch over was a breeze. Everything copied over from the old fold and there was little to no changes I.made. the crease in the middle of the main screen is almost invisible now.
The phone is better then the. Z fold 4 which is what i traded. The hinge is tighter and the overall device feels premium. The outside and inside display could be bigger but overall i am happy with the phone.
I've owned the Fold 3, 5, and now 6. This phone is my favorite that I've owned, period. I appreciate Samsung's careful iteration in design despite all the internet yelling for Samsung this phone to be as wide as the Pixel Fold. The slimmer cover display is part of the appeal (and making a wider cover display sacrifices the ideal portrait aspect ratio on the interior), and Samsung's version on the 6 is perfect. Cleaned up bezels, slightly wider, and less hinge protrusion. And the inner display--of man. Yes, sure, it still has a slight crease--but it's significantly less visible than on the 5, and when viewing content is disappears more than ever before (on the fold 5, even when you didn't get any glare or off-axis colors from the crease, you could still notice a very slight distortion in the picture. No more! It's nearly perfect). The flat sides really help this feel like a single device when folded, and also just look beautiful. Samsung is making all the right moves, and patiently refining their already excellent product. Ever product has tradeoffs it has to make, and for me, the Fold series makes all the right ones. I don't need wild innovation--I just want them to keep making a good thing even better in small ways. I'll 100% pleased with this new version, and will almost certainly buy the next one as well. :) Keep up the good work, Samsung.
It's great esthetically. It's over heating a bit for now. Hopefully and update will fix that. The processor has improved my photos. I really like the larger size of the outside screen. I also appreciate the trade-in incentives. Hopefully the Fold 7 will have better cameras, battery, and a place to put the pen.
