Very good phone but not perfect

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Z-Fold 6 is an answer to many of my needs while working in the field. Are in a small contracting company. I must review plan sets, markup errors and discrepancies, as well as sending marked up photos of site conditions. I've done this previously with Galaxy s series phones, but the Fold is a game changer. I don't need to take a laptop with me to work out of the truck. The large fold screen is big enough to review and modify Excel sheets. The s pen, while not included with the phone, allows this unit to set itself apart from others. I can't fathom why Samsung decided not to include it with the phone. To not include a docking bay within the phone for the s pen is also a major blunder on their part. With the cost of this level of phone, certainly all of the high end features should be included and usable upon initial purchase. Another issue I've had is that the s pen sensor layer built into the screen of the phone has some inconsistencies. Not at the fold per se, but there are areas where the registered strokes of the s pen drift away from where the pin is contacting the screen. Perhaps it is just a issue with my unit.
My final issue is with the newer Fold 7. It has no compatibility with the s pen. What a tremendous blunder by Samsung. I will now hold on to my Fold 6 as long as I can manage waiting for a better unit to be available.
The new Galaxy AI features are neat, but the hoopla over AI is over the top at this point. Not a lot of truly useful features with AI yet.

Honest review of Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6

I have had this phone for one year now. I really love the form Factor and think folding devices are going to be a style I use in the future. The AI is fantastic and for the most part enjoy the UI. I have had a Z fold4 that had issues with connecting to Bluetooth and Wi-Fi and is why I upgraded to this device. Currently I have been experiencing a problem that has me here shopping for a 25 Ultra. For the last month or so I have not been able to charge using a traditional method using a brick and cable. The only way I can charge is using worked charging. This is hard as I do not have wireless chargers at work or in my vehicle. I really want to love the phone but this is the second device in a row that has had some sort of compromise in how my phone works. Other smaller issues I have are that the camera lens durability is seemingly lower than previous Samsung devices I have owned as the rings have become loose or dislodged. Some apps are not optimized properly but I can deal with that. The battery does not usually last through my day and can be concerning because I use it for work. The phone gets hot and I worry about that. Picture/camera quality is lacking. The hinge is great and opening and closing is fantastic. I enjoy the side finger print sensor and it works well almost too well sometimes. Extended unlock I don't like at home. Call quality is good and processing works well. Biggest issue is with malfunctions that are deal breakers.

Loving the Fold 6 Perfect for Multitaskin

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using the Galaxy Z Fold 6 for a few weeks now, and I’m honestly impressed. The bigger inner screen makes multitasking super smooth — I can watch YouTube, reply to messages, and browse at the same time without it feeling cramped. The outer display is brighter and more responsive than my previous Fold, which I really appreciate.
Battery life has been solid for my daily use, and performance is crazy fast — apps load instantly, and switching between them feels seamless. The cameras are good too, especially for quick shots, but I wouldn’t say they’re the best compared to Samsung’s Ultra models.
If I had to nitpick, the phone is still a bit bulky when folded, and it’s definitely pricey, but the experience of having a tablet and phone in one makes it worth it for me. If you love productivity and having a big screen on the go, I’d recommend the Fold 6.

Still not 100% sold

While I like the option to use the Z Fold6 as a mini tablet, I'm still not 100% sold and may still yet go back to something like the S24 (I had the S22).
My main issue is that I don't use this model unfolded nearly as much as I do folded, and even though it's bigger than the Z Fold5 (yes, I had that too), it's still not big enough for these old eyes. And it's a bit thick, meaning it doesn't fit in pockets/purses as well as the S models.
Also not crazy about the battery life and the touch screen is often either too sensitive or not sensitive enough.

I've been an iPhone user for eight years, but the allure of Samsung's latest phone and its stunning color made me switch—and I'm thrilled I did. I preordered and traded in my old phone, and to my delight, the new PINK Samsung Fold 6 arrived a few days earlier than the official release date.
Pros:
The phone's sleek design and vibrant color immediately caught my attention. It feels modern and stylish in hand.
The large screen is perfect for binge-watching shows or scrolling through social media. It's bright and clear, which makes everything look great.
Easy transfer using Smart Switch app. Transferring all my stuff from iPhone was a breeze with the Smart Switch app. Within 30min, I had all my apps, photos, and contacts on my new Samsung—super convenient! Much easier than I expected!
