The Z Fold 6 is yet another refinement year with no dramatic changes from the Fold 5. The cover screen needs to be larger/wider like the One Plus Open, Pixel Fold, etc. The battery also can be improved like the Vivo X Fold 3 which is packing something like a 5500 mah battery. Overall, the competition is really ramping up and I expect to see Samsung match or exceed the competition next year or else they will be left behind. Considering what is available in the US market, this is still probably the best foldable considering the warranty support and trade-in deals.
Outer screen is too small. Battery life is terrible. Needs internal S-pen storage.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Salutations Galaxy, Thanks for taking the opportunity to review your Samsung Galaxy Z Fold6. We appreciate your feedback as we continue to bring our consumers the best in product design and functionality. Our goal is for our customers to feel like they are having the most marvelous experiences when using our products. Samsung provides a 12-month warranty on our products for manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship, linked below. The Cover Screen on the Fold6 is now 6.3" versus 6.2" on the Fold5. Your Z Fold6 features a 4400mAh battery with an advanced processor which allows for more efficient power usage, so you can listen up to 77 hours of music or watch up to 23 hours of video. However, actual battery life may vary by network environment, features and apps used, frequency of calls and messages, the number of times charged, and many other factors. If you are experiencing less than expected operational times for your battery life, please review "Battery Life - Optimization," "Get the most out of your Galaxy phone's battery," "Apps are draining battery on Galaxy phone or tablet," and "Samsung phone battery drains quickly on 5G service" to learn how you can maximize the life of your Galaxy battery. If you have any questions for us after reviewing the resources that have been shared, feel free to reach out to Samsung Support at your leisure. Thank you for being a dedicated Samsung customer. - Debra
I have been an avid user of the fold series since Fold 2. I have spent 1 year with each model. Fold 6 is a nice design departure with sharper corners and slimmer lighter design. I wish for a slightly more normal aspect ratio front screen, wish they would put the s24 ultra cameras on folds, and the pen skips a little on the hinge crease still. Otherwise it's all positive, good battery life, good enough cameras, great screen brightness. Feels great to use.
Small changes big results. Samsung's best Fold yet

I'm not sure how Samsung did it but the Z Fold6 is more comfortable for me to hold than my previous S23U and weighs less with its case. I now find typing on the front screen to be just fine and probably use this screen 60% of the time. If I had to find something to complain about I think the battery life could be better. I 'mostly' make it thru a whole day without a recharge but honestly a quick 10 or 15 minute charge gets me through the rest of the day on those few days when I am extra busy. Also (very minor nit) I have a heck of a time getting the S Pen out of the new case.. TL;DR The fold 6 is my only daily driver and is the most comfortable to use Samsung phone I have had. Highly recommended.
I'm very happy with my Z Fold6. My first foldable phone was the Z Fold5, which I traded in on this newer model. I liked the previous model, and I didn't have any big complaints, but I'm also glad that I upgraded. I prefer the shape of the Fold6 over the Fold5, and Samsung continues to reduce the crease/fold in the screen. It does't affect the usability of the phone at all. If you do a lot of web browsing, email and/or social media on your phone then you'll really appreciate the extra real estate (screen size) that the Fold6 provides over the S series or anything by crApple. It has S-pen support, but it doesn't come with one. I suppose that if it did, then they're have to figure out where to store it. Currently, you need a protective case if you want to store the pen with your device. My only other complaint is with the battery life. Even a causal user like myself needs to charge it daily. At the end of the day, it's a great phone phone with little to no competition, yet Samsung continues to raise the bar.
