These lights are a game changer, the brightness easy of use of the app . The able to add more light strings through the app and change to multiple scenes will make this a timeless purchase.

Great lights except for the app

Love the lights so far. Not too difficult to install but bought additional clips to secure each light as some adhesive did not want to stick to vinyl soffit. Would have rated 5 star except for the apparent app glitches. On Halloween, it appears everyone had the same issue of not being able to change scenes. Then I was traveling after Halloween and tried to change to a DIY scene but could not connect. It said I needed to be closer to my device. What is the purpose of wi-fi connection if you can't control it remotely like any other smart light app. I can't turn the lights on or off remotely (for some reason the permanent lights don't work on Google home either). I hope Govee fixes their app issues.

Good Look, Poor adhesion

The lights look great when they are in place but that proved to be a problem after just one week when they had to survive their first rain. The adhesive pads failed en masse despite being "all weather" and having the instruction followed. I wont say the blame falls 100% with Govee, there is a lot of variables in play when it comes to use adhesive pads like this including activation pressure, the material you are applying it, and (even though 3m wont say it directly) humidity. It would be nice if an alternative mounting option was supplied given the price. The lights look good, but if they aren't staying up what is the point?

Love these lights! The combo of pre-programmed settings and DIY controls is fantastic. Plus, I'm only scratching the surface of the capacity of these lights.
Installation was fairly straightforward. A couple of the 3M adhesive squares didn't function as well as the others. Overall, though, these are a great product with solid equipment.

Amazing lightshow with little effort.

The second I lit up the lights, my 84 year old neighbor came outside and shouted out "Its beautiful!". I spoke to her and with tears in her eyes, she told me she doesn't get around well and hasn't seen any kind of Christmas lights in several years. She told me she really appreciated that I went all out and that she gets to see them. The fact they were super simple to install/ setup and look amazing (best display in the neighborhood) makes the cost well worth it! I plan on going even bigger next year, but working on it throughout the year since they are pretty much year round type lights! Thank you Govee for such a wonderful product.

Simple setup and awesome look

We had an easy roofline and had 150 feet installed in around 5 hours including getting power up into the attic. Easy to follow instructions and a nice design. Happy with the investment.

The app is pretty awful! For the price of these lights things should be flawless especially the app. It's definitely needs some major updating. Other than that, the lights are great, the app is the brain.
