Illumination!

Installed these yesterday. They look amazing and pictures don’t do them justice. Still learning all of the features. I also installed the retro fit 6” lights outside for the full lighting effect. Excited to see how they hold up. Installed was easy. Take the time to do it right. I used a small block of 2x4 as a spacer from the siding.

Lights are pretty but won't stay up.

I worked hard to put up these permanent lights and unfortunately they way my soffits are I can only use the sticky part to install them. I cleaned with alcohol first and let dry then I installed on an 80 degree day and I pressed each light hard for about 30 seconds so they would stick. Now I have about 5 that have come loose in different areas and I dread getting the ladder back out to try and make them stick again.
The lights are beautiful and would be perfect if they had other options where you didn't have to rely on only the 3m tape to hold them up.

Day 2 so far so good. I followed the instructions and no issues. Care to clean and make sure you have a good sticking surface is key. Great accent to my house. I purchased a 150’ set which was a little more than I Needed but it works perfectly!
I would recommend this to a friend!

App is clunky. Too many options. There needs to be a simplified way to set re occurring settings. App is super congested with options no one cares about. Make it simpler or have a lite version.

Do you ever have the 16' extensions in stock?? I see the 100' and the 50' on occasion… just would like to add to my existing set and trying to figure out if i just need to order the 50'.. thanks

Our neighbor install something similar last week, my whole family said they disliked them. I could tell they were not Govee and installed too far away. That being said, I have to say I am beyond thrilled with this purchase! Install was very easy, spent more time laying out power lines + extension cord than installing lights. Then when we turned them on, our jaws hit the ground. They look professional and bright. The prebuilt scenes are great, we had a family vote for which Christmas setting we preferred.

Great lights

Finally took the plunge this year and bought a couple sets of Govee LED permanent lights. After a little prep work, the installation was a breeze. We have the house lights on 2 different timers. Christmas theme on the house until 11:00pm and then plain whites at 50% until sunrise. Along with the curtain lights, our house is again the talk of the neighborhood!
