Excellent product, app could be better

The Govee Permanent outdoor lights look awesome and have some awesome effects, but the app is so convoluted and hard to use. After 3 days, I've resorted to using other people's scenes, because making my own was so time-consuming and frustrating. Other people must have endless time on their hands to be able to come up with these amazing scenes. Either way the lights are awesome and I would recommend them to anyone.

Great looking lights that leaves neighbors jealous!

They have now been up a week and everyone loves them. Still need to see how long they last but i put them up with a wire clip at every light so that should help. They look amazing and have a ton of features and options. Wish I would have had this sooner!

Awesome lights

Put these up last weekend with ease! They look great and you can change up colors with ease! No need to climb ladders multiple times a year for different holidays. The price is much better than most competitors.

Lights look amazing!

I've only installed 4/6 of the sets cause of a heavy downpour. Being 20 feet off the ground would have been a workout for a 65 year old with a ladder, so I rented a three level scaffolding unit. The hardest part was cleaning under the eaves. The installation was very fast and easy. Next set I'm having to clean and install off the ladder due to shrubbery but the final set I need to disassemble and reassemble scaffolding on the opposite side of my home. As I said before, I couldn't wait to do the full install. I had to try them out to see what it looked like. Absolutely awesome! I'm sure there's a way to control the app with two phones but I just haven't had the time to view the website instructions. Off to finish the install with the ladder!!!

Great product, poor service

I bought 2 sets and had extracting of lights left over inquiry about getting extra controller and was told they don't sell extra, you must buy another complete set. If I would of known I would picked another company!

Bright, easy to install, easy to operate

200 ft took me about 3 hours to put up, and another 3 hours to clean up, conceal wires, install adhesive clips, etc...
I would suggest not installing the wire support clips until you have run the show for a few days. You may want to adjust the position of the lights, and this will help woth that. Also, you can cut the wires, and make short extensions no problem. This is useful for small jumps in the eaves if the roof line changes to gBle end or something. I just drilled a hole in the eave, and tucked my extension connections into the eave to keep it dry and weatherproof. Then come back with cauking and seal the hole.
