Rgbic outdoor lights

These are great outdoor lights. I have 2 sets running the whole perimeter of my home. I would be great if I could run more than 150 foot on one signal but that's not allowed so the front of the house and back of the house don't sync colors perfectly but when using a solid color it looks great synced up.

Great concept, poor execution and horrible adhesive

While the lights and app work great, reality is that these lights defeat the whole purpose and best feature of permanent lights of being able to "set it and forget it". We followed all the installation instructions and unfortunately a few days after installation the lights began to fall. Initially it was no nig deal a light here and there, but little by little the lights keep falling. By now we have probably re-attached all 150 feet with the spare adhesive provided and some of the lights still fall. This is not acceptable and will be requesting a refund .

These things are awesome

Yes we all know how hard it was to get them. And they are expensive. Those are the two things that took away the 1 star. When I got these yesterday I took them out and plugged them in right away. They are so bright they really did hurt my eyes. The color capabilities are unreal. Control ability is incredible. The app is easy to use and you can control each light individually. The automations to make them blinker or chase match music is awesome. I did not expect the product to be this good honestly. I was really hoping they would be this good when I paid the money and I was surprised the actually are. Just need this ice to go away so I can get the 100 and the 50 foot sets I bought under the soffit and lit.

A) Installed these about 20 inches from face of wall, on some wedge shaped trim so they aim back towards the wall. Light is less intense, but still puts color all over the wall (and fascia does a good job hiding the pucks from the street).
B) Govee needs to offer spare extensions. Used the 12 foot one that came with the kit, but would have loved to be able to buy these separately, maybe even on that is half as long. Would give people more options for layout. Offer spare wire clips, while you're at it.
C) App still needs work. For one thing, setting an automation (FYI, on at sunset) needs more customization. Able to delay past a given time, but not BEFORE. ALL of my other RGBs allow customization before sunset. Another item would be to allow user to zoom in on individual pixels for a custom lighting effect. Some of us have large fingers, or are using a phone to customize, so selecting an individual pixel can become a struggle.

But... I'm happy with my install, I'm glad I purchased them. Only took a star off due to the items above, which I think are solvable by Govee.
