Basic Microwave, Weird features.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is fine. Builder installed this one and wish we had upgraded to a different one. I don't like the way the cook time, and buttons work. Everything is in 15 second increments and there are only buttons #1 - 6 on it so you can't select your own time. For instance, you can't set cook time for 3 min, 47 seconds. When you push the cook time, it automatically gives you 15 seconds, and then you have to use the button to add up to either 3:45 or 4 min. Plus it would be nice to have a handle on the door. I hate having to slam it shut every time to close it. And the cooking cavity is smaller than the 2.2 cu. ft. it says it is.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my second microwave, and I do not like the front panel with all the numbers. The film is waving, and it looks horrible. I was not aware of the fact that it looks this way. If I get another one will be the same. Wish I could of see it on display before purchasing.

Nice Features and easy to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We replaced a 28-year-old Whirlpool microwave with this one about 3 weeks ago. The old one was still going strong, but we changed from 1990s white to stainless steel finishes. We like the butter softener feature and the quick time selects (1 minute, 2 minutes, etc.) as we mainly use this appliance for reheating meals or making queso. My only complaint is that the clock has a white light on it, while the oven and refrigerator we bought at the same time have blue lights. My OCD finds this to be an annoying, first-world problem!
I would recommend this to a friend!

New microwaves missing basic stuff. Sad

There are no timer digits. So if I want to heat for 12 seconds, can't do it. Some work arounds: Use Cook Control to get 15 seconds, then can go up or down by 5 seconds, or add +30 secoonds to get 45… Lot of steps that are better handled by having n numbered digits.
