The appliance works well!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far. so good. This appliance reminds me of our old GE we had for close to 16 years. The convection/bake feature works very well. It does as it should for cutting cooking time. We had bought another GE to replace the old one and it's not even close in comparison. The only negatives I have found is the controls are a bit confusing, a learning curve for sure, with a little concentration I have mastered them now. The other drawback is the pre heating function, it works a bit slower and is quite noisy but hey, it works well. We shall see how long it lasts.

Missing parts

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] All parts are not included. This is not acknowledge at the sale. Paperwork revealed to call for the parts needed to use the air fryer/broil/heating element. The Kitchenaid air Fry Basket and Baking Tray offer KMCS522. Calling was not easy. They do not understand what you are calling for and was put on hold for some time. It took several calls and about 2 hours to finally get the part ordered to mail to my home. This was 03/04/2025 and still not received the product

A little difficult to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It was a replacement for another Kitchenaid product that we used under a counter, and the sizes worked well. The key pad, however, is difficult to read (not enough contrast), the operation is not as intuitive as the old one.

Might be great... or not

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I give 2 stars because it works as a microwave... It is very loud when the microwave kicks in *just like our old one did just before it died... So I felt obligated to get the extended warranty... When we purchased it there was an offer to get the air fry basket and baking plate free after registration... we were supposed to get an email (yes I checked my spam folder) never got it... I set an email to support... no response. So 1/3 of the functions works (maybe)
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Difficult

My last KA microwave was so easy and worked great this has so many steps and most of the time the plate is hot and the food in lukewarm. Kitchen Aide has always been my go to but now I’ll need to rethink that.why do you make it so difficult…

Disappointed

Lies! Air Fry components not included

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Microwave works fine. The Air Fry and Convection bake features are a farce. The components necessary to use these expensive features are not included with the microwave when purchased. It's nearly a month after purchase and still see no signs of getting the additional components. This company should be ashamed of this entire bait/switch practice. Do not purchase.
