Door latch broke after 2 weeks

Bought a new house, used for about two weeks and the latch won't open. The serial and model number are on the inside of the microwave so it's impossible to get to them. I was told I'd likely have to pay for service call because I don't have that information. On a two week old microwave. Builder told us that many others had the same problem. I wish I would've known before closing to get a different one
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Average microwave with annoying feature

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This microwave replaced the previous one that was defective. Pretty average. One feature we don’t like is the way you have to set the cook time. You cannot just punch in the number of seconds. You have to start with the predetermined 15 seconds and then use the + or - to increase or decrease time. Very annoying.

Terrible Controls

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The controls are terrible. Who doesn't put an entire 10-digit number pad on a microwave where you can just enter in the time you want? You need to do calculus and break a code to put something in for 45 seconds. Good news is it heats stuff up.

Only Kitchen Aid for us!
