Great features and performance

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When our former KitchenAid Wave broke, we wanted to repair or replace that particular model. The one we ended up with is as close as it could be and we like it very much. A few improvements we appreciate: more options in timing various cook/heat/thaw times. I also like that where i place an item on the carousel and touch a standard time, it delivers the item back to the front (magic). Its quiet and reliable.

Door latch broken

5 Months used, and the door latch broke. There is no mechanism to get it out. Now my microwave broken and not working

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was a 2nd replacement for our 20 year old kitchen aid. The first one broke in same place as old one within 2 months. Kitchenaid replaced it promptly. These new models create a lot of steam/smoke which I do not like

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This microwave is bigger than my old one. It also heats food faster. The only thing I'm not used to is the auto lock door. Sometimes I forget and the door doesn't open. Otherwise, I'm very happy with my purchase.

There are some new features (melt and soften) which I've tried and enjoy them. I haven't tried all of the new features yet, but will over the next month or so. I would recommend this microwave to someone looking to replace theirs.

Ridiculous

Multiple steps needed for what should be very simple functions. Can’t even simply heat for 45 seconds. It takes two steps to even open the door. I hate this microwave, regret this purchase, will probably not use it.
