Bad user interface/controls

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The controls on the microwave are terrible and will not let you input arbitrary time without large shenanigans to work around the terrible interface and lack of buttons.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

3rd times the charm?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This unit was a replacement unit for the initial purchased one that came with our new home that didn't work (would not open). After installation of this new unit it worked for 3 days before it failed the same way the 1st one did - the safety feature that prevents the door from opening while cooking locked in place and would not open. A 3rd unit was installed a few days ago.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not very intuitive. No buttons to set the exact cook time; only 15 second intervals. If I wanted 2 mins. & 7 seconds, I can't set it to that.

Mine has a moisture/condensation issue in door that won't go away. It looks like a square inside the glass. When talked to service was told that is normal. Well, I didn't have that problem in my old KitchenAid microwave. With this issue, my door looks like it's dirty and it bothers the heck out of me! If I had known this, I would never have purchased.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The front door view is too dark

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our old KitchenAid microwave had to be replaced after 11 years. The new model does not seem as sturdy or as well made as the old model. The door seems very cheap and a bit flimsy. The trim kit is fine. The new model does cook well but the biggest issue I have is that the window on the door is so dark it is difficult to see the cooking process. I would have given five stars but due to the darkness of the front door I could not.

Good microwave

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] the microwave is great. However, it does not allow to set the specific time (or we haven't figured it out yet). Another thing is that the door locks, which is annoying. Taking the star for these two issues
