Strong and efficient air conditioner

The setup was incredibly straightforward thanks to the clear and easy-to-follow instructions. From unboxing to installation, the process was smooth and quick.
The unit is user-friendly, with simple controls that make adjusting the temperature a breeze. I set it to 66°F, and it had no problem cooling the entire 450 sq. ft. And more space efficiently and consistently. The cooling performance is impressive—it really gets the job done.
One of the best features is the low noise level. It runs quietly enough that it doesn’t interfere with conversations, TV watching, or sleep. Overall, I’m very satisfied with this LG window unit. It’s effective, quiet, and easy to operate—perfect for a backup or even permanent solution.

Excellent cooling unit exceptional performance

It's a very quiet unit and the cooling performance is excellent. It's a wonderful unit for those hot sunny days. Thanks to it, my family will be very comfortable in the summer. It also has a sleek, elegant appearance and the color is perfect.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had a good experience with the LG window air conditioner overall. One of the biggest strengths is its energy efficiency. Many of their models are Energy Star certified, and some even use LG’s Dual Inverter technology, which helps them cool more effectively while using less power.
I’ve noticed a definite drop in my electricity bill compared to my old unit.
Installing the unit was pretty straightforward. It comes with a full installation kit, including side panels and foam for sealing. The instructions were clear, and while it was a bit heavy, I was able to set it up with a little help. If you're comfortable with basic tools, you should have no trouble getting it installed in a standard window.

One thing that really impressed me is how quiet the unit is. Even when it’s running at a high setting, the noise level is low enough that I can still watch TV or fall asleep without being disturbed. The Dual Inverter models, in particular, are very quiet compared to other window ACs I’ve used.
When it comes to air quality, this AC does a solid job. The built-in filter is washable and does a good job catching dust and allergens.

Good for the size.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pretty strong for how little it was, put it to use in the garage and it cools it just enough to make it comfortable. I’m sure in a room on a window it would work even better. Didn’t really notice the noise as I have my music loud all the time in in the garage so can’t tell if the unit is loud or quiet. Definitely would recommend for addtl cooling for a small room.

Good Quality AC Unit

It comes with a remote which is nice! It also has the foam gasket to help insulate the unit and reduce any light coming through

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Good unit does what it meant to do cool and quiet, it's a little beast it does cool nicely and the dry out function seem to work to over all a great product with good air flow, easy install and you can definitely run this on a portable generator if you have 700w I would say it's energy efficient if you compare it to other units.

Great AC for a 400sq ft sunroom

It cools the space incredibly fast—even on the hottest days, it makes the room comfortable in no time. Installation and removal are both straightforward, which makes it convenient for seasonal use.
One feature I really like is the adjustable airflow direction. Being able to change the wind side helps circulate cool air exactly where I need it. While the unit is a bit on the louder side, the sound doesn’t bother me—it’s a fair trade-off for the strong performance.
I also think it doesn’t use too much energy, which is a big plus, especially when running it frequently during heat waves.
Overall, this AC has been a great addition. It’s powerful, efficient, easy to use, and makes a real difference on high-temperature days.

Big A/C unit with lots of cooling power!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my new 12,000 btu LG air conditioner. The install was quite simple if your windows are perfectly square, but mine are not. You must pull the center of the unit out first and install the outer frame first. It was quite challenging to put the faceplate on the unit at the end and get it to stay attached correctly. I was able to fix the situation. Overall the directions are simple and easy to follow overall. This unit sits in the window very sturdy so no worries of it falling out randomly. Other than that is has been amazing. The air quality is great. This Lg A/C cools my whole downstairs level fast and efficiently. It can handle 1000 square feet no problem. I can keep my living room, bathroom, bedroom, kitchen, and dining room at a nice and cool temperature all day long. I love when my house is cold during the summer and this will definitely get the job done. Its very quiet and runs smooth. I barely can tell it’s running. It also comes with a simple and easy to use remote. This is a big window unit so make sure it will fit before purchasing. LG is usually really good with the energy consumption but we will see in the future. Overall a great A/C unit to have, especially for big areas. I will definitely be comfortable and cool all summer long..
