Nice, Cold Air

Overall great a/c

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This a/c is a powerhouse. It cools my entire apartment so quickly. I was super way to install into my window. It’s not super loud. It looks great and is modern and sleek. The included remote is helpful. Not sure about electrical efficiency yet but I think it will be good since it is such a nice model and does not power down constantly.

Gets Really Cold

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This LG 8000 BTU Air Conditioner is perfect for our bedroom. The air conditioner cools 350 sq ft and our room in a little over 100 sq ft, so it works very well at getting the room cold and keeping it cold.
The LG 8000 BTU Air Conditioner has 3 cooling speeds/3 fan speeds. I really like that I can set it to only run the fan on the nights when an air conditioner isn’t necessary.
There’s also a dry setting as well as an eco setting, but I’ve yet to use either of those features.

The LG 8000 BTU Air Conditioner comes with everything you need to install it, though we were missing a brace, but thankfully it wasn’t one of the ones we needed to use for our window.
The side panels fit into our window frame perfectly, and we only needed to cover up a few small openings.

We mostly run the air conditioner at night and I can say honestly that this air conditioner is not very loud at all, not even when it kicks off and back on to regulate the temperature.
This air conditioner isn’t very heavy, weighing just shy of 60 pounds, so it’s not very difficult to lift and install, though it does still require two people.
There are a few design flaws, several dents on top of the outer metal housing, but they don’t affect the way the air conditioner works.
This is a great air conditioner, and I hope to enjoy it for many years to come.

Cools the room fast!

It performs great in a mid size room and for sure it’s one of the lowest noise level I have had. Must buy for your home!
