The absolute worst experience I've ever had with a networking appliance. It slowed all my connected devices to a crawl (have approximately 30 in total & 25 connected at a time with only 5 hardwired) - 500Mbps connection speed = about 140Mbps LAN speed with a LOT of latency. AppleTV buffers constantly directly connected to the main unit. Obviously the specs you give are bogus and/or only good for a few connected devices. As a result, I'll never buy another Asus product ever again

The product did not extend wifi coverage and I bought two more to use as nodes which would not connect to the network, completely worthless

We do understand your disappointment with the product and the inconvenience this may have caused if you are experiencing weak signal strength.
Typically, the coverage of this ZenWIFI is up to 5700 sq. ft. To resolve the weak signal, place the router in the center of the area you want to cover, avoid placing the router near metal objects, electronic devices or direct sunlight, position the router on a flat, hard surface and halfway between the floor and ceiling. Additionally, dense building materials, such as gypsum, concrete walls and planks can affect Wi-Fi signal penetration. Also, we recommend updating the Mesh router firmware if it is running with an older version. Firmware is available for download at: https://www.asus.com/us/networking-iot-servers/whole-home-mesh-wifi-system/zenwifi-wifi-systems/asus-zenwifi-xt9/helpdesk_bios?model2Name=ASUS-ZenWiFi-XT9.
