not senior friendly

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was part of a package deal with our new house. All Whirlpool appliances. Starting with the side by side refrigerator. I less than 3 weeks after we moved in 7/10/2025 our ice maker broke, still waiting to have that fixed. No problems with the washer so far but the dryer is taking much longer to dry regardless of the setting.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After 3 months of regular use:
Pros: Cleans clothes well. Like the monthly reminder to clean the machine.
Cons: Long cycles. A lot of button pushing to get things done ie: power button every time, push and hold for cycle start, can't see the heat or cycle type (light, heavy, etc) with out next level prompts. Gasket is difficult to wipe dry/clean. Can't see in the drum well to check the level of suds.
If I could go back in time I would select a different machine.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is difficult to review a brand new machine that has not worked since it was installed and we are now waiting weeks to get a technician to service a unit that hasn't dried one piece yet.
