It’s okay

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dryer replaces a dryer that was very similar and 18 years old. The plastic used for the door is definitely less substantial. The touch screen to turn it on will not respond to my cold fingers. I have to run warm water over my hands before attempting to turn the dryer on.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Whirlpool dryer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Although the gas valve “buzzes” when the gas turns on, the dryer works great. We had a very similar dryer from Whirlpool prior to this one for 21 years. It was part of the duet series along with a front load washer. The washer finally quit, but the dryer was still working fine. We ended up replacing both. We are looking forward to hopefully another long working relationship with our new Whirlpool washer and dryer. Whirlpool said the gas valve should not be making a buzzing sound and is replacing it.

Not a a great purchase

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this dryer a month ago. Finally my clothes are dried in about an hour! However I am already starting having problems with this unit. The control panel doesn't respond to the commands. Sometime it gets stuck and I have to press the keys multiple times before I can start a cycle or change a setting. Also, the door must not close properly, since the control panel gives me the error message to latch the door. I am not happy with this purchase.

Bought recently and and very disappointed weld seem of drum has welding slag or rough spots snagging clothes

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dryer replaced a 21 year old Whirlpool Duet Dryer. I really like my new dryer. It's quiet, dries well, and looks real nice. I do miss the light inside, didn't know I missed it until I don't have it.
