Unfriendly features - stupid design - DIFFICULT TO

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So my Whirlpool dryer died after only THREE years and I had to buy another so it somewhat matched the washer. Big mistake. Why do they have to keep changing the design - it gets worse each time. This one is horrible. You can't just hit the "more time" button if it's about to stop. You have to hold the reset button FOREVER for it to shut down. Then HOLD the on button. Then HOLD the start button for a few seconds. And every time I have to reset the temperature and settings that I want to use each time. I really hate this dryer. And it just has more things that can go wrong. Let's see if this lasts longer than 3 years...and btw, I probably do one load every week max! It's not heavily used.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Many Cycle Settings

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a very nice dryer that has a lot of different settings that we are still trying to figure out what is the best level to have it set on. Every setting has a dryness level and some are dryer than others. As we get used to it, we are really starting to like it.

Great Dryer!

Very happy with purchase….should anything happen to my whirlpool suet washer, i dont have to do any research…whirlpool washer!!! Thank you Whirlpool! When most appliances are now made so horribly it was a wonderful surprise to get this solid….perfectly performing Whirlpool!

Doesn't dry well

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Takes forever to dry and still have to run a timed dry cycle to get clothes dried. My vent is cleared so that's not the issue. I feel like my old 13 yr old dryer worked better.

Died in under 4 months

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this dryer in March 2025, in June 2025, it stopped working, not delivering heat. Fortunately, it was under warranty and there was no cost for repairs, but a new dryer shouldn't stop working so soon. Doesn't build confidence for long-term performance.

Soft Error message

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It did not work from the first day. Every time you pushed the start button, a Soft Error message would appear, and technical support could only tell us to unplug for 30 minutes and then try again. Sending it back.

Bad experience

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought it brand new and upon arrival it never heat up. I contacted the seller and a tech visit was scheduled. After he performed some troubleshooting he indicated that the main board was bad. I requested a replacement and the seller replaced with a different model, same brand. This time it worked!
