Restrictive Settings, Poor Design, Issues

STILL unhappy with this new washing machine after about four months. The manual is nearly useless and I can only find the 'Cycle Guide' online--which contains the most important information for our use case. So, do you too want to be able to choose a palate of options for you wash loads? This washer has preselected palates of settings with fairly limited ability to modify them. And if you do modify them most are accessed from the 'screen', in which case there is no quick way to press single-function button to make those choices (need to toggle through a couple steps--not a fatal error but an annoyance).
A standard wash has almost NO water in it. Human and pet hair remain in small wads after those cycles. Have more than 'office wear' dirty clothes? Then you NEED to use Heavy Duty/Towel setting to get enough water in the machine to actually get a clean load.
How about 'Add A Garment'? No way to do so, even though the indicator says it's able to do it. Help online--nope.
The filter door rattles when the machine spins. Reason: The adhesive foam intended to cushion the door when closed is improperly located and provides NO cushion. Others have commented about door rattle and still nothing was done to remedy that. Makes me question a dedication to quality elsewhere in the machine.
Overall I regret this purchase. When it first has some significant failure I will be replacing it with something designed with an owner who has some idea of washing clothes in mind--rather than this example of a design that assumes the owner can't be relied on to make smart decisions, and execute them without a lot of fingerpoken.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

My second whirlpool workhorse

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My new front load Whirlpool washer is the new model of the Whirlpool washer that I loved for over 10 years. That Whirlpool did seven loads of wash a day as I had twin goldendoodle puppies in my business and then at home. I love the easy touch power and cycle settings on my new washer. There’s even a custom cycle, and I have the ability with Wi-Fi to start the wash remotely.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall I like it as a washer. It is super quiet. But it is not at all intuitive and it did not come with a manual. So at some point, I’m gonna have to spend time going through the online manual. Which is very annoying.

Great washer/dryer combo!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this about a month or two ago. We are very happy with the product. Our only concern is with the WiFi connectivity. I have not been able to get it to connect and have not had time to contact customer service. Other than that, it is a nice replacement to our Samsung washer (which was great, too, but showing its age).
