Faulty machine
on December 4, 2025

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) We received our machine and from the beginning it really shook while spinning. I thought it was normal. It seemed to get worse so we called a repair company. He found excessive vibration during spin cycle and he found suspected faulty shock absorbers or drum hang rods
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had Whirlpool washing machine in the past. We had one last for about 25 to 30 years before the bearing went on the old machine, so we had to buy another which was cheaper then fixing the old Whirlpool.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love, love, love the quick wash cycle!! The washer has a variety of cycles, which is great when you many types of loads- normal, heavy duty, towels and bedding ( more cycles than I listed)!! I also love that you can take out the dispenser to clean it!!

Not as good as I hoped

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m 2 1/2 mos into using this washer. I really dislike how it shuts off early. The time will show 19min left in a spin cycle and it shuts off in 3-4 minutes instead. I do not feel it gets my clothes ad clean as my old washer.

Hello,
We value your time and would like to look into the concerns with your Washer.
If your front load washer is experiencing excessive vibration, appears to "walk" or move across the floor during a cycle, produces a noticeable thumping or banging sound, or seems generally off-balance, the root cause is typically related to either the initial installation setup or the characteristics of the laundry load being washed. Addressing these potential issues systematically will help ensure proper operation and longevity of your appliance.
1. Shipping Bolts and Materials Removal
Critical Installation Step: It is absolutely essential for the safe and proper operation of any new front load washer that all shipping bolts and protective materials be completely removed before the first use.
Why this is important: Shipping bolts are designed to stabilize the washer's inner tub during transit. If they remain in place during a wash cycle, they prevent the tub from moving freely and absorbing vibrations, leading to extreme noise (often a loud, metallic banging) and excessive vibration that can severely damage the machine's suspension system and the structure of the cabinet.
Action: Consult your Installation Instructions and ensure all shipping materials, including bolts, plastic spacers, and sometimes base pads, have been carefully removed and stored (in case of future moving).
2. Washer Leveling and Foot Contact
For stable operation, the washer must be perfectly level, and all four feet must be in firm contact with the floor.
Checking for Contact:
Grip the washer's top edge and gently rock it forward and backward. There should be no noticeable movement or "give."
Repeat the action, rocking the washer side to side.
If the washer rocks in any direction, it indicates one or more feet are not fully supporting the weight of the machine.
Adjusting Leveling Feet:
Use the adjustable leveling feet located at the bottom corners of the washer to correct any rocking. Refer to your appliance's specific Installation Instructions for the precise method of adjustment.
Once level, the feet must be in firm contact with the floor.
Securing the Jam Nuts:
After achieving the proper level, tighten the jam nuts (or lock nuts) located directly above the adjustable feet, securing them tightly against the base of the washer cabinet. The jam nuts prevent the feet from loosening or vibrating out of position during high-speed spin cycles, which is a common cause of walking.
3. Installation on a Pedestal
If your washer is installed on a laundry pedestal:
Tighten Mounting Screws: Ensure all screws connecting the washer to the pedestal are securely fastened.
Level the Pedestal: Verify that the pedestal itself is level and that its own leveling feet are in firm contact with the floor.
Secure Pedestal Feet: Confirm that the foot lock nuts on the pedestal's feet are tightened against its frame to maintain stability.
For additional guidance, always refer to the specific Installation Instructions for both the washer and the pedestal.
Modern Assistance: You can learn how to use your phone to help level household appliances accurately.
4. Floor Stability and Levelness
The foundation on which the washer rests is crucial for vibration control.
Floor Check: The washer cabinet must be level, or it will invariably vibrate excessively. Use a carpenter's level to check the top of the appliance.
Structural Integrity: Inspect the floor underneath the washer for any signs of flexing, softness, or sagging, which often occur with older wood floors or unreinforced platforms.
Installation Restrictions: Do not install the appliance on a raised wooden platform that is not specifically designed and fully braced to handle the dynamic loads and forces generated by a spinning washing machine drum. A flexible floor magnifies vibration.
5. Laundry Load Management
Issues with vibration and off-balance cycles are frequently caused by the way the laundry load is distributed inside the tub.
Avoid Overloading and Tight Packing:
The drum should not be stuffed full. Clothing should move freely within the washer, allowing water to saturate all items and the washer to effectively distribute the load during the spin phase.
Overloading not only causes severe imbalance but also puts extra stress and wear and tear on the machine's suspension system and the garments themselves.
Balance Single and Bulky Items:
Washing a single, heavy or bulky item (e.g., a large rug, a heavy winter coat, or a single jean jacket) can be extremely difficult for the washer to balance. The weight gets concentrated in one spot, leading to violent off-balance attempts.
Solution: Always balance a single bulky item with a few extra medium-sized items (like towels or a couple of shirts) to help distribute the weight more evenly around the drum circumference.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It has all the features I was looking for. The fan feature is great for times you can't remove clothes right away. I also like the 30 washes feature for cleaning the washer.
