[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] At first I had trouble to just get it started. Then I realized you just barely tap the start button. Wasn't in any of the getting started manuals. Also the machine does not light up all the features when running it to let you know for example if you have the extra rinse cycle on or not

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not really very happy with our new washer. It's just okay, and seems to do a decent job washing and does appear to be fairly quiet. But the cycles are WAY longer than on our old washer, which was a nice, high-end frontload washer at the time (and still works fine after 20+ years, it was just time). Example: Normal - 57 mins; Hvy duty/towels - 2+ hours; whites - 2+ hours, bedding 1 1/2 hrs. All cycle settings appear to be adjustable, but the only way to have one basic cycle for most things appears to be only via the app & a custom cycle, which I don't care for. We're not a household with a bunch of kids and we're both retired (but not old), so we do just basic washing. A big complaint is the lack of decent contrast on the panel font against the black background of the panel (the coordinating dryer is even worse). And even after having a front load for over 20 yrs, I've never needed nor wanted a pedestal, yet I have to bend over to see where the dial is set on this one, so I'm actually thinking about raising the units up somehow. You have to turn the unit on every time, and the auto shut off is super short. And if you want to use the 'Dry Drum' feature, be prepared for 4, yes, FOUR hours. How is that efficient? The Owners Manual that comes with it is completely useless, so plan on going online to get information that describes the various buttons and cycles (for ex how the steam works, and if you want to simply do a rinse & spin).
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
