THE GOOD FEATURE ABOUT THIS MACHINE IS CAPACITY

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] CAPACITY: GOOD CLEANLINESS: THE WHITE CLOTHING ARE COMING OUT DULL!! THERE IS PROBLEM THAT CLEANING THE MACHINE IS CONSTANTLY REQUIRED, WHICH IS A WASTE OF WATER, ELECTRICITY AND TIME!!! I HAVE NEVER HAD TO GO THRU THESE PROCESSES IN THE PAST 50 YEARS WITH MY OLD TOP LOAD WASHERS!!! IS THIS CLEANING PROCESS REQUIRED FOR ALL THE WHIRLPOOL FRONT LOAD MACHINES?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback with us! We're genuinely sorry to hear that you had a negative experience with your Whirlpool® Washer. We're committed to providing the best support, and we'd love to discuss your experience further and see how we can help. Please see the following for some troubleshooting tips: If you are experiencing issues with your clothes not cleaning effectively, review these key factors: Initial Setup/Water Supply: If newly installed, run an empty "Quick Wash" cycle with HE detergent. Ensure hot and cold water inlet hoses are connected to the correct household supply and that both faucets are completely open. Detergent and Additives: Use only HE (High-Efficiency) detergent and always measure the correct amount based on soil level and load size. Using too much non-HE detergent or excessive amounts can cause over-sudsing and poor performance. Fabric Softener: Measure, dilute, and add only to the rinse cycle to avoid staining. Liquid Chlorine Bleach: Always measure and dilute as directed; undiluted bleach will damage fabric. Cycle and Settings: Temperature: Select the warmest water temperature safe for your fabric, following garment care labels. Cycle: Choose the appropriate cycle. Refer to the "Cycle Guide" in your Use and Care Manual for specific instructions. Soil Level: Adjust for lightly or heavily soiled items; higher soil levels increase wash time. Spin Speed: Faster speeds shorten drying time but may increase wrinkling. Slower speeds reduce wrinkling but result in a damper load. Loading: Load items in loose heaps evenly around the washplate. Do not overload, as clothes need to move freely. Sort dark and light clothes to prevent dye transfer. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Good washing machine, much like my old one. The advanced feature I like is the dry drum! I really wonder about humans and phones ... is wifi necessary, is there a switch to just turn it off.
Machine Randomly Fills With Water as Circuit Board

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The machine occasionally fills with water on its own, even when it isn’t in use. The circuit board also stopped working unexpectedly.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 4-star for a couple of reasons, although I do like the Washer - 1. No Operation Manual came with the Washer. Even when I tried the "online website to get a manual" it is not readily available nor easily available and I Still Do Not Have An Operation Manual! I thought maybe the App would have directions as to how this thing operates, but again, was disappointed at not finding any Operation Manual. 2. The Door to the Washer - I found in the scant information I received about the washer the recommendation that the door to the washer remain ajar after washing to help dry out the washer. My previous washing machine had a latch which kept the door propped open and secure, but on this Washer the door just flops in the open position, unlatched and unsecured. Not Desirable.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love our new whirlpool washer and dryer. Getting used to both! Awesome washer and dryerThis family is a Whirlpool/ Maytag family. Our clothes are coming out sparkling clean.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Keeps walking across the floor even on normal spin.. Have to continually push back to original set up. My old Whirlpool never did this. Wish it had the light inside the machine like my old machine too. Cleans well and after 3 months does not have an order. Big disappointment, I can not recommend this washer.

We're committed to providing the best support, and we'd love to discuss your experience further and see how we can help. Please see the following for some troubleshooting tips: Washer Out-of-Balance and Loading Tips An unbalanced load occurs when the laundry is unevenly distributed, typically during the spin cycle. This can result in: Symptoms: Loud noise, excessive vibration, reduced spin speed, longer cycle times, and wet clothes. Self-Correction: The washer attempts to self-correct by adding water and rotating to redistribute the load. If it fails, it may display an error message or stop spinning, requiring manual load redistribution. Key Solutions for Optimal Performance: Proper Loading: Place clothing in loose heaps evenly around the agitator/impeller. Never overload the washer (clothes should be no higher than the top row of wash basket holes). Avoid adding too much water, as this reduces cleaning action. Heavy or Bulky Items: Check the care label to ensure the item is machine washable in a top-load washer. For highly absorbent items (quilts, blankets), distribute them in a doughnut shape around the impeller. Wash two or three similar bulky items (like rugs) instead of just one to help balance the load. For more tips, check out Washing Large Loads or Bulky Items in a Washer. Washer Level: The washer must be level, with all four feet firmly on the floor. If it rocks when pushed diagonally, it needs to be leveled to prevent excessive noise and vibration during the spin cycle. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had this washer for a month now and it is performing quite well. It runs quietly and seems to have a good counterbalancing system as it does not jump all over the place with the bed sheets. I like that it lets me know the load is finished via my cell phone as my hearing is not so good and I rarely hear the "finished" signal. For my initial review see below.
This seems to be a well built washer. For us, it replaces an older Whirlpool which had been repaired a few times in its 25 years of service. The brittle plastic parts and lack of availability forced us to seek a new unit. The new washer is quiet and offers all the cycles of the old one plus a few more. The filter now has good access through a door in the front so I won't have to take things apart to clean it out. I hope it goes another 25 years with minimal repairs. The instructions address keeping the unit clean to minimize odors. That was long in coming. They also tell you the places to look for buildup of smell sources. Nice to see that as well.
