Washing Machine That Doesn't Wash

Bought back in January. This machine just tosses around damp clothes that come out just as dirty and smelly as they went in. On more absorbent clothes you can still see dry spots. Sometimes with things like towels that absorb all the water I will get a no water detected message. When I restart the load after this happens, it must sense a heavier load because of the now damp towels, and it adds too much water. Because of the low friction drum, everything just balls up in the bottom and doesn't get tossed around. I messaged whirlpool on the app about the low water level problem and received no response. Needing to wash my clothes, I purchased a new OEM level sensor and replaced it. Same issue. Just enough water to dampen the clothes. I have resorted to pouring in extra water through the detergent dispenser so my clothes get clean. It works the best when there is about 1/2" of standing water in the drum. Enough to suspend the dirt from the clothes, but not so much that the clothes wont toss around. I would say based on the same results with two factory adjusted level sensors that this washing machine is just programmed not to use enough water. There is no issue with the water supply, water lines, or the solenoid controlled valves on the washing machine. It fills, just not enough.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

If you are experiencing issues with your clothes not cleaning effectively, review these key factors:
Initial Setup/Water Supply:
If newly installed, run an empty "Quick Wash" cycle with HE detergent.
Ensure hot and cold water inlet hoses are connected to the correct household supply and that both faucets are completely open.
Detergent and Additives:
Use only HE (High-Efficiency) detergent and always measure the correct amount based on soil level and load size. Using too much non-HE detergent or excessive amounts can cause over-sudsing and poor performance.
Fabric Softener: Measure, dilute, and add only to the rinse cycle to avoid staining.
Liquid Chlorine Bleach: Always measure and dilute as directed; undiluted bleach will damage fabric.
Cycle and Settings:
Temperature: Select the warmest water temperature safe for your fabric, following garment care labels.
Cycle: Choose the appropriate cycle. Refer to the "Cycle Guide" in your Use and Care Manual for specific instructions.
Soil Level: Adjust for lightly or heavily soiled items; higher soil levels increase wash time.
Spin Speed: Faster speeds shorten drying time but may increase wrinkling. Slower speeds reduce wrinkling but result in a damper load.
Loading:
Load items in loose heaps evenly around the washplate. Do not overload, as clothes need to move freely.
Sort dark and light clothes to prevent dye transfer.

Whirlpool nice and quiet!

It is much quieter than my last one and I do hope it lasts me as long. I did get 15 years out of my LG washer. I did select Whirlpool this time around do to the ratings. I don't find it spins as efficiently as my last machine. There is still a bit of weight on my towels after the spin, whereas my last machine, they came out lighter weight and less drying time.

Nice Washer abd Dryer Set

Simple and efficient and I am happy with them and the pedestals. The tub drying feature plus American manufacturing sold me. The price was reasonable and added a 5 year warranty. I am not knowing what the washer does

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far it’s working pretty well however there was no instruction manual included, and I can’t find anything online. I don’t know what all the features actually do. Also, there is some thumping noise between functions. When the drum is being filled with water there is a thump and when stops filling there is a thump.

Old washer acting up

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our whirlpool was acting up, the control panel or door was the problem and rather that getting it fixed$$ or trying to DIY it$$ we went ahead and replaced it with similar cheaper model, does the job and hope it lasts as long as this one did.
