Do not buy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This washer works well and is quiet. However the instructions are not clear and sometimes it is very difficult to start a load of laundry. The instruction booklet is no help.
Advise - do not buy this washer with many added features. Instred buy a simple maching with few bells and whistles.

Great features!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this a month ago to replace an older model. I love the features, especially the drum vent so that I don’t have to crack the door. Also love the sleek design and even though is a bit smaller than my older model, it easily washes my king size comforter. So far am very happy with my purchase!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Frankly it's too early to give this a fair review. Check back in a year or two and I'll have an opinion based on how well this unit holds up.
What I like so far. It's pretty easy to use. The wireless feature is very nice. My washer is in the basement and having my phone alert me that it's done is handy.
What I don't like: There's virtually no manual, no online video of how to operate the unit. Any setting that isn't immediately intuitive becomes a Google search. I would prefer a book that has all the instructions and error codes, tips etc. If not that, then a link to this exact model going over all the features, settings and error codes. Yesterday, I got an email from Whirlpool entitle getting to know your washer. I was stoked. Only to be let down when it was not at all what the title or my assumptions expected. Essentially, a glorified sales pitch. I'm already sold, I bought one... Would I buy it again? Yes... Would I buy the competitors if it had similar features, price points and a BOOK, for sure.

Another great whirlpool appliance.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My old Whirlpool washer finally stopped working after 20 years of hard work and not 1 issue. I decided to stick with whirlpool. This one is quieter and works great. I took off 1 star because this new whirlpool has a new feature that has a drum dryer option that I wanted but it has to run for 4 hours. That’s a long time so I’ll use it sparingly.

Problems with balancing.

Had to have the first one replaced and had to have a service call on the second one because of balancing issues with the washer and pedestal. We are still having balancing issues. We have had Whirlpool washer and dryer in the past but would probably not buy another.

Front Load Washer: Vibration, Walking, or Off Balance Troubleshooting
If your washer is vibrating, shaking excessively, or seems off-balance, check the following possible solutions:
Installation Checks:
Shipping Bolts: Ensure all shipping materials and bolts were removed during installation for proper operation.
Leveling: The washer must be level to avoid vibration. All four feet must be in firm contact with the floor.
Leveling Adjustment: Adjust the leveling feet and tighten the jam nuts against the base of the washer's cabinet.
Floor: Do not install the appliance on a raised wooden platform and check the floor for flexing or sagging.
Pedestal: If installed with a pedestal, ensure mounting screws are tight, the pedestal's feet are firm on the floor, and the foot lock nut is tight.
Loading Checks:
Overloading: Avoid tightly packing the load; clothing should move freely.
Bulky Items: Avoid washing single, bulky items (like rugs or jackets). Balance them with a few extra items.
