[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought a front-loader nearly a month ago, and so far I’m pleased with it. I hesitate to give it a five-star rating so soon after buying it. If it performs as good as my old Whirlpool front-loader, which lasted 15 years, I’ll be happy to give it five stars. The old washer came with an owner’s manual that included tips on cycles, laundry, etc., but the new one did not. I did find the information online.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had mold problems with our previous front loader. We are or a septic system and wanted to keep water usage low. The washer is designed to help prevent mold problems and so far it seems to be working.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Washer works good, but the manual that comes with the washer is lacking information. There are positions on the dial with no explanation in the manual of how to use or when to use it. (Dry Drum)
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Whirlpool front loading washer is without a doubt the best washer I have ever had. When the wash cycle is over, the clothes feel like they totally have the water out of them and then it doesn't take very long for the dryer to dry them. I have just gotten this washer in our vacation home and when we arrive back home, I'm going to get one for there as well. Love it!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pretty good overall . It does make a grinding sound when it's slowing down after a spin cycle. Not sure if that's normal, keeping an eye on it. This machine is mounted on a pedestal and likes to "walk" a few inches when the load is unbalanced. Minor, but annoying.
