Just Bought and Need to Fix

Remove the AI!!

I agree with architect z below. I’ve had the dryer for about a month and the word “negotiate” for working the controls is appropriate. Here i am on a Sunday morning seeking googling HOW to manage the settings I want. It seems that every time i put any terry cloth in (large towels OR multiple facecloths) the cycle ends and everything is still damp. So frustrating to return to the dryer, planning to use or wear something and i often have to run it again. I stand there pushing the power button and hoping to figure out how to extend time or increase heat…it is NOT intuitive and as a result, i think uses more energy because i have to re-run. Wish me luck on finding good instructions.

Tech Gone Too Far!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Modern attractive solid looking--solid running machine! Sadly it is TOO modern! You cannot just turn it on! You have to "negotiate" with the dryer thru a series of halting buttons and sensing and other completely ridiculous dumb games playing to get it to start!! I often rerun some of my perm-press clothes in the dryer for a short time to get out the wrinklies. IT WON'T LET ME DO THAT! It is too SENSITIVE! The dryer SENSES the clothes are dry--so shuts off!! ON TOP OF EVERYTHING ELSE---it is very NOISY!! This is TAKING TECH TOO FAR---to use it as a MARKETING FEATURE! Whirlpool has lost their minds! We have another stacked washer dryer---brand new---quiet---you turn it on and off AT YOUR PREROGATIVE!! We will keep these tech bullies that came with our new house---but I DO NOT recommend them!!
