[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have the Night Ow CL-D8P12-26Ll system that comes with six cameras but can support twelve with the two terabyte hd. I only have the six cameras so far covering all the approaches such as the driveway and corners with one in the basement to keep an eye on the water pump mostly.
With an unfinished basement installation was pretty easy because there wasn't a lot of making wires invisible. If I had to hide the wires in the wall I would have had it installed by a professional.

never felt safer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am not a tech person and this was super easy to install. I'm very happy about the clarity of picture. Night time is still clear on picture. If you need extra security around your property i couldn't recommend this more. I love that it has so many camera for different angles also.

The best way to ensure the safety of your home.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nowadays if you own a home, security cameras are very helpful and no matter which camera you end up going with, they all work really well and make it easy to stay on top of our home.
This security system too, is smatter than ever. It happens to have a ton of high-end features with a lot of appeal.
First, it has 1080p HD live streaming, free person alerts and 4K image sensor. That 4K image sensor allows for a feature called Super-sight that zooms in on a person and tracks them within the camera's field of view. It also has night vision, cloud storage, motion tracking and HD video for top-notch video quality with multiple wired spotlight cameras. This pack comes with 6 small wired cameras included.
With a little monthly fee you can get facial recognition, with which you can create a database of friends and family in the app and then receive custom alerts when the camera recognizes them by names. It has a bunch of additional features, including detection zones and advanced notifications of everything in motion may it be, people, animal, vehicle or package deliveries.
I am still learning a little more about its features everyday. It's amazing how improved security technology makes us feel more secure when at home or outside the home in real time.

Best system brand out there!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've never owned a nightowl before so this is my first. I'm replacing a old cheaper brand that wasn't living up to what I needed. The 4k resolution system is amazing and so clear, and I mean sharp image of zoom ins! Now when I zoom in on a someone I can see their face real good, or see an object sharp and clear. I love the cameras with the spotlight that kicks on if anything gets in front of them and the night vision is sharp, I have been amazed all around with this system. It was easy to get activated and set up with plugging in some info, the cameras were easy to set up with running the cables to and from the system to cameras. This system is loaded with tons more than my old system, I'm blown away, its definitely the best system brand on the market for sure!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Security system

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been wanting a security system for quite some time now. With running a business from home and constantly receiving packages, I was becoming concerned with items going missing. This so far has worked great. I like the fact that it has night vision. Not blurry night vision like some security systems, this is clear. I can see what is actually out there. So far we've seen many deer and racoons, lol which I enjoy seeing. The system itself was pretty easy to install, my husband did it in an afternoon. I was able to sync my smartphone with it with ease. I also have it linked t my PC, which is nice. I can now see the UPS driver "up close and personal" when he's dropping off my packages. Totally clear images which is great. While they state these are weather resistant, we placed these under covered areas on the front porch,patio and under the eaves. We were a little intimidated at first when we opened the box, and saw all that is involved to installing these. But like I stated above. It was pretty easy and my hubby had it done in an afternoon.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Easy set up, top notch quality camera system

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Night Owl 4K UHD wired security system is an incredible value. It comes with 4 very high quality cameras and is expandable to 12 total channels. Installation was straightforward, the hardest part was running the cables. Otherwise, the software is intuitive and provides easy access to most of the features. The spotlights are excellent and provide easy, bright visualization of whatever is being recorded. Video quality is great, can make out details easily. However, I don’t think I’d be able to make out a license plate or identifying detail from far away. Overall, very pleased with the system and would recommend it to anyone who is searching for a customizable / expandable solution.

Love, love, love the set up!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got a week ago, this is so perfect even when the internet was off it clearly shown everything happening outside! We can watch all the corners of our house, our dog, visitors, and the car. Definitely recommend to anyone who asks and I show them how well it works. Only downside, The light stays on for some reason.. I think it's the indicator light but otherwise it's fantastic to have. The tough times we all have to deal with, I'm glad to have this security camera set up!

To know when someone is around that shouldn't be and being informed makes me feel better. Also, we receive lots of packages and this helps keep track of them in case something happens.
