Good case, but pulls pockets inside out. No phone cases should ever have grippy rubber along the length of the case to avoid this. Hard plastic with ridges or texture to add grip is smarter.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I am very fortunate to have the OtterBox Defender Series Pro Case protecting my Samsung Galaxy S20 5G Ultra for about four years now. It had its bumps and falls through the years which my cellphone survived it all. Most impressive since my cellphone survived them all even when I was sure that my cellphone couldn’t survive that one or that one, but it did and kept on working like nothing happened. Unfortunately, the Defender Case was badly damaged, so I had to have the Defender Pro Case replaced while my cellphone was oblivious to what has occurred to my Defender Case and kept on working like nothing happened (There was no damage to the cellphone at all. I found that most amazing.). Yep, the Defender Pro Case did its job and protected my cellphone while it was completely destroyed. Now, that’s the kind of case one would want for a cellphone, a case that really protects which is what the Defender Series Pro Case did. It really protected my Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra, to which I am most grateful. This case is truly a Defender. This Sunday was a most regrettable day. It brought sorrow to my heart. After many charges through the years, Sunday was to be the last charge that my Samsung Galaxy S20 5G Ultra was to get. What a sad day. As the cellphone was charging, the battery (Lithium-Ion) exploded. As the shrapnel flew in all directions, the Defender Pro Case prevented anything from coming from the bottom or the top, and from the sides plastic and metal flew out. Needless to say that the phone and case was destroyed, but alot of damage was prevented because the bottom and top of the case remained intact even though it was badly twisted. I didn’t realize that hard rubber (Or whatever substance it’s made of.) could twist like that. What’s left now, looks like something that didn’t survive a war, is twisted metal from the cellphone and material from the Defender Pro Case. Nobody should ever experience something like that. Most shocking. I ordered a Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra on the internet that is Unlocked with 1TB (1,000 Gigabytes) and 16 Gigabytes Ram. Unlocked allows you to change chips so that you can call and receive calls as local calls. And I am also ordering the Galaxy S23 Ultra Defender Series Pro Case which will Protect me from another battery explosion if that should occur again. Preferably, this was one and only such occurrence. Wishing all well, Ed.
