Love my new ice maker . You can see the ice start coming in about 10 minutes. In about an hour it’s half way full

Hands Down Best Nugget Ice Maker!

This is my third nugget ice maker. My first was a Frigidaire and I thought it was great until I purchased an Opal 2.0. The Opal nugget ice has a much better texture. After a ridiculous amount of produced ice, the pump/motor finally quit. There was no question about shopping around. We immediately purchased another Opal nugget ice maker! Fortunately, Samsclub had a great price on the Opal 2.0. I am forever spoiled. Once you’ve tried the Opal ice, you can’t go without it!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] GE Profile Opal 2.0 ultra nugget ice maker has the wow factor!! The ice maker was nicely packaged and easy to remove. Once I had it out of the packaging I followed the instructions that made setup very easy! Then the wait began to see those tiny chewable pieces of ice fall. It only took 10 minutes to begin seeing ice! Once the machine completed making and filling up the basket it was time! Needless to say the ice net my expectations and more! Delicious, crunchy and tasty ice filled my cup and my cravings! Highly recommended!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The first thing you will notice is that the design of the Opal 2.0 is very elegant.  And the item comes very well packaged mine was actually missing one of the packing straps, but nothing was damaged inside of the box because of all of the extra foam packaging that was used by GE when packaging this item. After you take about 15 minutes to set up and cleaning the unit for the first time to get it ready for first use, you’ll be surprised with the amazing quality of ice that it produces and it only takes about another 20 minutes to do so I was stunned the texture of the icefeels when you are chewing on it I would 100% recommend this item if you were looking for an icemaker
