The Otterbox Commuter case perfectly fits the iPhone and provides easy access and operation of the various buttons and ports. The design keeps your screen from getting scratched when placed face down and the same is true for the camera dock when the phone is placed on its back. The case has a nice grip-feel and still easily slides in/out of your pocket.

I love my new OtterBox! The commuter was the perfect fit for me. I do a lot of outdoorsy stuff, and I am constantly in dirt and dust and mud. I love that the ports are covered on this model. I also really love this denim like light blue color. I was even able to find a magnetic PopSocket that matches. Only ever used an OtterBox case on my iPhones, and they have consistently kept my phones protected over all of these years.

The case itself is exactly what I’m used to seeing from OtterBox, good construction and protection. However, the MagSafe feature is a letdown. I have a Scosche magnetic charger and the MagSafe feature of this case is not strong enough to stay on the charger when encountering minor vibration or slight pressure to the phone. I could attach the metal piece that comes from Scosche for phones without MagSafe using glue or rivets to the case, but that defeats the purpose of buying the MagSafe case.

The Commuter Series case is designed to allow for wireless charging, but does not have magnets in the case itself. the Commuter Series for MagSafe is designed with magnets in the case and is therefore designed to adhere to charging stands and utilize MagSafe accessories. Therefore, it will not adhere or "snap" to MagSafe charging stands and accessories. Love Otterbox cases. The only issue I had was with shipping. I never got a notification that my case shipped or any approx time frame for delivery. It would be nice if the order process went further than just the order conformation by email. Would be nice if you offered a wallet case. Had to find a cheap wallet/folio case for my wife which I’m sure won’t last very long.
