Ice machine breaks once a week

I'd rather have the most simple refrigerator that works than all this technology BS. Samsung needs to master the fridge basics before trying to get fancy. Our ice machine consistently freezes over into a huge block... we then have to pull out the ice bucket, stick a blow dryer in there to melt the ice block, reassemble and wait for ice to be made... did you know it makes 3 cubes per 75 minutes... then to top it off, we go to press ice cubes dispenser and it comes out crushed every time. If we even have ice made that is. We never have ice because we have to do this process once a week. Believe me, we keep it at the *Smart* fridge recommended temperatures, we replace our water filter regularly. We are only two people in this home using a refrigerator... it should not be like this. I am ready to go buy a cheap one with a working ice machine over this poorly made machine.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Not just a refrigerator!

It's too sleek and stylish than a normal refrigerator
Has way more options
Creates its own look in any kitchen
Provides way more options than other refrigerators have ever done before it.
I think it's set a new bar in the industry and boy will companies have a hard time to get thier. I'll go over a normal scenerio with you and all the times our new refrigerator came into play. So it's 2pm my mother gets notified that the milk is running low so she texts me to grab more on my way home on the screen as she walks into the kitchen she's greeted with a abstract painting and as she opens the door the screen welcomes her to the date, weather, and her ring camera which will come into play a little later. Switching screens to the Samsung TV app she watches unloved mysteries will fixing her grandsons favorite meal as he is about to get home from preschool, finding all the items easily in the deep space inside that shines bright when you open the elegant black door panal is a treat every time she says! So back to preparing the meal the mystery on the refgerator screen is getting very interesting when the alert on her screen comes on that the ring camera sees a yellow school bus arriving with her best friend and partner in crime so she goes to the door to great him and doesn't miss out on making a warm meal because she's able to keep up in the kitchen without the worry of missing the schoolbis arriving. It's these things plus a plethera of other options that make it a necessity now in our household to have Samsungs best.
Their is really no better option than this refrigerator with options like choosing what you want the middle section to be a fridge or a freezer or notating on the app from anywhere in the world and that note than coming on the screen of the refrigerator. Or sending pictures that come as Screensaver from the same app. Clean water all the time thru a pitcher or fountain sleekly put as a separate window on the left door. So thoughtful and beautiful is the design that you don't Evan need to be around to know what is lacking or running out the cameras can show you thru the app. It's really great! Samsung has given Amazon dash app instacart app perdu farms app shop rite app and many other options to refill your naccessities and late night snacks while standing next to your refrigerator listening to spotify lol! Can't belive all this in a fridge!

not your average fridge

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This fridge is definitely from the future. First off, aesthetically speaking, it's beautiful. The no handle look is extremely sleek and just looks phenomenal. Every single one of my friends and family have commented how nice it looks. Secondly, the fact that it has Alexa and google assistant onboard is so practical and functional and just makes my time in the kitchen easier and more streamlined. Thirdly, this is a massive fridge with ample fridge and freezer space for even the largest of families. Diving more into the aforementioned topics, one of my favorite things is the ability to quickly set a timer by just telling Alexa "set a 5 minute timer". I use this function every day that I make tea or am boiling eggs which since I'm on a diet at the present time, is extremely handy. I also like that my ring doorbell links up with the fridge so if I s you can see, this fridge is fully customizable and ready for even the most modern of kitchencan't leave the fridge because I am cooking, I can just see who is at the door from my fridge and talk with them too. Also, setting my home temperature is extremely easy to do from my kitchen since my nest thermostat also links up with the fridge too. The inside of the fridge has adjustable shelves that can suit your needs. I have very tall items in my fridge so I put the bottom shelf as low as possible so I could put overly tall items on that lowest shelf and there is still enough room to put short items under that shelf still. If you don't choose to just lower the bottom shelf, there is a push-away section to the middle shelf that gives you a tall section to use. The beverage center of the fridge is one of my favorite things. I have been trying to drink water more often and the fact that the pitcher automatically refills is just awesome. The pitcher also allows you to infuse your water with lemon/lime/citrus or anything you may want very easily. If you choose not to use the water pitcher, there is still a pouring spout with the button like most fridges have. Another unique feature of this fridge is that it makes 2 types of ice. One is standard ice and the other is smaller bite-sized ice. It has its own section in the freezer and comes with an extremely convenient scoop. There is also a customizable "flex zone" between the freezer and fridge that allows you to set the temperature from soft freeze, wine, deli, beverage, or meat. All the temperature settings are controllable onboard or via the app. I truly love this fridge

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Samsung refrigerator has some incredible features that have definitely impressed my family. Love the handleless design and multifunctional touch screen. We use the auto refilling water pitcher daily and love having the ice machine in the freezer which opens up so much additional space in upper portion of the fridge. Our son cannot get enough of the touch screen art program. He likes to draw us pictures constantly. The slick design and incredible functions suite our home and family perfectly. The only criticism we have is the pitch point that exists between the upper doors and middle drawer. You cannot close one while simultaneously opening the other without getting your fingers jammed between them. We feel the handle for the middle should have been placed on the bottom of the drawer to prevent this issue.
