Great Display, but not Fingerprint Resistant

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this 4 months ago and had to wait several month for the stainless steel panels to come back in to stock to make our fridge SS. The fridge itself has plenty of room and a good layout. I like the ice bin I can add my own filtered ice, and doesn't have to be made with the in-freezer machine. The water filter isn't the best on the fridge so I buy my own ice and fill it. Looks sleek and getting used to have a smart fridge and reminding myself to use the features, but very nice overall and would recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Upgraded to this Fridge from the original Samsung Hub fridge... And this one is a massive upgrade! The in door beverage center is amazing and we use it so much more than we thought we would. It took a bit of time to get used to the ice in the freezer compared to the door.. But I love the two types of ice and the quantity of ice it hold... Plus it opened up more fridge space!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great features & space!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had this fridge for a few weeks. I love the beverage center. We use the pitcher a lot more than expected and I like that the water dispenser is hidden. I was skeptical about the ice being in the freezer drawer as I’m used to the combined water/ice dispenser in the door. Turns out I prefer the ice in the freezer, as I don’t have ice dropping on the floor and I like that the ice is covered (as other brands/models I looked at don’t always have that feature). The family hub is pretty cool but I haven’t used it for much more than watching the news or using Alexa. I have the counter depth fridge and was pleasantly surprised at how spacious it is.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Cons:
- family hub isn’t as useful as we thought it would be. It does take the place of photos held up by magnets, post-its and finger paintings, but the food recognition, the “see what’s in the fridge” features are fairly useless to us because they aren’t very accurate. Should have adopted either android or iOS, instead they offer mostly useless apps and the integration into existing accounts is clunky.
- the Samsung “bing assistant” is basically a Siri/Alexa ripoff but worse.
- the “FlexZone” drawer mechanism broke after like 4 months. Most of it is made out of lightweight plastic (even the drawer slide gear sprockets??) and it is wobbly and flimsy when you open it. It then broke the plastic tab off the basket that fits into the drawer. The drawer is a good idea, especially for kids. Knowing that, it should be the toughest most bulletproof part of the fridge. Instead it’s the weakest.
- the ice bins are giant, but never get full. It’s plenty of ice, but why all the wasted space?
- freezer is a bit small… I would have opted for no
“FlexZone” and more freezer. Plan on having a second deep freezer if you have a family. Wife disagrees, she likes the FlexZone for the kids.

GET THE EXTENDED WARRANTY. Warranty claim was easy, but we will see how the repair goes.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far so good, I haven’t had any issues with the refrigerator, I can’t say all Samsungs are good, the previous refrigerator we had was also Samsung and it didn’t turn out so good. I like this design and it fits our needs, hopefully this unit last more than 10 yrs.
