Cheaply made toaster. Does NOT toast evenly. Bought to replace a 10 year old Cuisinart toaster that died. This toaster is so light weight. I could have purchased a cheaper brand and would probably have been just as satisfied.

Love it because it has every setting you could ever need. I also like the defrost and the one slice option. I can always depend on Cuisinart. I would recommend with no hesitation. It was worth every penny! As I mentioned before this is a brand you can count on for many years. A great example: we have had a Cuisinart k-cup coffee maker for 10+years. It has never let us down!!

I had a 4-slice toaster, also Cuisinart, that was old and beat up and took up too much space. Since I am single, a 2-slice version was perfect. This one has a few more features than the old one. It also is smaller which is ideal for storage. It is so lightweight that it feels "cheap." All I can really say is that it gets the job done, the was a toaster should. But it is nothing special. And it does look a whole lot nicer than my old one which was a white plasticky outside that had become yellowed.
