I'd give a five if I would have had it longer. I like the different settings. I'm still gauging bagels and different breads, but it toasts evenly and my last toaster, (KitchenAid) never did.

Overall I like the toaster. I like that you can dial for various breads including bagels. It also has a button for a single item. Bagels face out rather than in. My husband has to have the slide for darker and light near the end of the dark cycle to get a normal bagel shade. That worries me as our last Cuisinart toaster only had to use that setting shortly before it died. We’ve only had this toaster for 2 months.
