I wanted a simple traditional toaster. This toaster meets and goes well beyond my expectations. The look is classy and sleek, while giving top performance. It has varied function settings, the one slice preference being one appreciated most. Worth the money. Easy to clean.

Overall I like the toaster. I like that you can dial for various breads including bagels. It also has a button for a single item. Bagels face out rather than in. My husband has to have the slide for darker and light near the end of the dark cycle to get a normal bagel shade. That worries me as our last Cuisinart toaster only had to use that setting shortly before it died. We’ve only had this toaster for 2 months.
