Toaster works well with plenty of settings. I do miss the countdown timer my old Cuisinart had. When stopping the toaster short of it's time if you try and move the lever up instead of pushing the cancel button it feels like I'm breaking the toaster.

Unimpressed. The dials seemed like gimmicks. The only thing you could really do (besides darkness setting) is just turn on the outside burners - WHICH TOASTED SINGLE SLICES EVEN MORE UNEVENLY!!!! Small bread openings, too.

You will have to experiment a bit to get the results you want, especially with English muffins. Also, when ,you pick single slice both sides heat up?
