I thought for the price, the toaster was made of low quality material. I thought the stainless steel exterior was very thin and lightweight. The toaster I had previously (which was the cheapest on the shelf) was comparatively not much different. I believe I paid for the name rather than the quality.....a disappointment.

I feel like I have to set the toaster to 5 or higher to really get some toasted bread. Also confused about what the “single” button does…please review the language in your manual because it is not helpful.

Good toaster with good options. The reason I took away a star is because the singe toast feature only browns one side of the bread. same with waffles- only the outer side gets heated unevenly in the single toast feature.

The toaster has settings that match the type of pastry to the wanted level of browning and is even on both sides, pops up to a level you don’t get burned taking toast out.Very pleased-what I expect from the Cuisinart brand.

The toaster is perfect because it has so many choices for toasting waffles, English muffins, bread, pastry and more. It is so easy to use and keep clean. As appliances go, it also is very attractive and a nice additional to the kitchen.
