We really like that you can choose the item you are toasting to make sure it is how you like it. I like my bagels toasted on each side so I don't use the bagel feature but my husband does. I like that it cools down quickly so we can put it away faster.

This toaster was purchased to replace an Oster model that stopped working less than 6 months after purchase. So far it works really well - the various settings for bread, bagel, frozen, etc. are nice additions. The only thing I don't like is the size of the openings (which is a common problem with all single slice toaster models) - they need to be about 1 inch longer for odd size breads.

I gave it a 3 because I like the english muffin and bagel choices on the dial but I took down the rating because the knob and push down button are cheap plastic.

This toaster does not brown one piece of bread evenly on each side even when the "one-slice" button is used. It does brown evenly when two slices are toasted.
