Don't bother if you are not born of limitless patience

Touch surface is garbage. What is so hard about putting knob controls on an appliance!!!!!!! #######!!! $!$!$!_&#-#. One little splash of water or splatter of grease and you can't control the cook top. For the live of God!!!!!!!!!! Put knobs on your crappy appliances!!!!!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Very Good Induction Range

I had to replace my range a couple of days before Christmas and chose this Frigidaire Induction Range to cook a large Family Dinner. I passed the test with flying colors

I’ve had just over a year, and the touch controls are a constant frustration. Had service out shortly after purchase & was told this is “just how it is” ( ex-The oven door lock touch function works maybe 2-5% of attempts) I have experienced also random “beeping” noted by other comments. Recently noticed stove top elements (on right side only) were not working as usual & now have another (electrical?) problem with oven not shutting off. Is currently disconnected from breaker & waiting for another service call …in 9 days’ time.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Induction is Great - design off a little

This was our first induction Stove. It took a little getting used to - press to start the stove, press the element you want on, select the temperature of the element. With induction the stove top heats the pots very quickly - and with the pot being heated, not the stove top itself (it gets a little warm, but not bad) - it makes it so that if something spills on the stove - it is easy to wipe off. We have found that the elements don't heat the pots evenly - we have learned to rotate frying pans to make sure we get all edges or move things to the middle. With the touch screen on the same level as the pots, if you ever drip on the front panel - it can trigger changing the temperature, or even turning things all off - until you get it cleaned up and turned on again. This can be frustrating. The other issue with the panel is placing something on the stove top, even with it off, with the button range - it will beep and complain until you move it - if the panel is not activated - it should deactivate the panel so resting something on it won't beep. Now that's the stove top. The oven has worked well - we have used all features, and although the air frying feature works very well - we have found that the cleanup isn't as nice. The rack can be pulled out and put in a dishwasher, but, the shelf it sits on, and if you don't put a tray under it - it means the stove needs cleaning. We have learned to deal with this, but may be nice to have a tray to have under the rack with the oven. All other heating, and functions work well - food from baking, air frying to roasting have all turned out well. If there is a way to modify the front touch panel for the oven, it may be something to consider. Leaning over the stove - to a cupboard above the stove or leaning back on the stove, when off, seems to cause a push of the timer buttons or light. They are very sensitive to touch. And for some reason, when we first got the oven, we found that the touch screen stopped working at times. With that we turned the stove off at the fuse panel, and back on, and after a few times of that - it stopped being a problem. So my rating is a little lower on this particular item, but I would still recommend it and have adjusted how I work with it - but, may be some things to consider for Frigidaire in future builds.

For the touch control responsiveness and occasional display concerns, basic troubleshooting may help by ensuring the control panel remains dry and free from spills or objects resting on the surface, as moisture or contact can activate the controls unintentionally. If the controls become unresponsive, performing a power reset by turning the unit off at the circuit breaker for several minutes before restoring power can help refresh the electronics, as you previously experienced. For more even induction cooking results, continuing to center cookware properly and using induction-compatible flat-bottom cookware may also improve heat distribution.
