Noisy in many ways. Had to turn off at night in order to sleep. High fan difficulty hearing. Tinny noise at times and a loud thump when compressor cuts on and off. Whistling noise at times as well.

Noisy

I've had this unit for approximately 2 months now. It quite effectively cools my 300 sq ft area during some intense heat but it is very loud and noisy. Fan on high it's difficult to hear in the room and when compressor cuts on and off it's a loud thump. Also during its cycle it will make a tin vibrating sound for a short period as well as a whistle. I have to turn it off at night in order to sleep.
