Very fun and easy machine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Let me start with this is a very nice machine and I love kitchen aid gadgets. The only thing that made me give it 4 stars was the fact they used plastic in areas holding the metal piece to catch the ground coffee and that is quite heavy. Other then that I love everything about this machine. I am a big turkish coffee maker so when I got this I was a bit skeptical but with the right ground level all coffee beans taste amazing and you get that beautiful froth on top. I'd like to see the pressure be a bit higher to push the oils and eater through a little more. For a house item it does the job. The milk steamer/frosther works amazing.. we made Machiatos. I would deginately give this a thumbs up recommendation to the espresso/coffee lovers out there. One other nice little item is it heats up just water if you want to make a cup of tea and the reservoir is really good sized!

The fact that the machine has a grinder built in is awesome. I absolutely love it. I’ve tried a few recipes from the recipe book it came with and the drinks have been delicious. Overall this is a great product that I know will last for a long time like other kitchen aid products.

Great machine after learning how to use it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have never used an espresso machine quite like this one and the anticipation of its arrival had me feeling like a kid on Christmas morning! Honestly I was intimidated when I took it out of the box and got it set up. The instructions were a bit overwhelming and I thought that I had gotten myself in way over my head. However, after taking a couple hours to really learn the KitchenAid Espresso Machine with Burr Grinder I have found my new favorite appliance! It is really quite easy to use and clean! And I am saving a fortune while enjoying my espresso in my pajamas! I definitely recommend this beautiful machine to anyone who wants to drink a quality espresso while in the comfort of their own home!

Great Semi Automatic Espresso Machine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a coffee addict and own a older super automatic espresso machine. My machine compared to this kitchenaid semi automatic was very easy to use once you dial in your settings. It took me a few tries to pull the perfect shot. I was unable to pull a shot with the double wall basket. Still trying to figure out why I couldn’t but with a single wall basket I was able to find the perfect settings for my medium roast illy coffee. The machine itself is very quiet and heats up fast. Beautiful stainless steel design and modern look. The burr grinder works well and you’re able to dial in your exact grind level. I like how it is an all one machine and you do not need a separate grinder. You can remove the bean hopper if you need to and it has a good air tight seal. Love the designated space near the drip tray that stores all the baskets and cleaning tools. The drip tray itself is easy to clean. The tamper and portafilter are heavy and great quality. I love that the portafilter is flat so you can tamp on any surface and not the edge of the counter. The top of the machine heats up well to warm up your mug. The steamer heats up fast. It froths my almond milk well and dispenses hot water for my americanos. One complaint I have is the water tank has an opening that I had to tape off to prevent dust from entering the tank. I think overall this is a great machine. Makes great lattes and americanos. I prefer super automatics vs a semi based on my lifestyle but it is a great machine for the weekend when I am not in a rush. Semi automatics have a learning curve but kitchenaid provides all the tools and a detailed user manuals.

Durable and Stylish

It is such an awesome machine and comes with all you need for fresh yummy espresso shots. It also comes with a milk pitcher and the steam wand can be used to create rich foam or steamed milk for different drinks. Also love that the machine tells you when it needs cleaning and you can run the cleaning cycle with the push of a button. It is a high quality machine and definitely seems worth the price.

Perfect Cappuccino Every Time!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, I love this espresso machine. However, the instructions that came with machine were HORRIBLE!! It took us over an hour to figure out how to set the machine up. The instructions didn’t state what was included. For example, I found three more filter baskets behind the drip tray inside the machine. The quality of the machine is amazing! The espresso drinks I make at home are better than what I used to get at Starbucks. The steam wand produces the best frothy milk for cappuccinos I’ve ever had. The fact that I’m able to have two shots of espresso at once saves a lot of time. The grinder allows every espresso shot to be fresh. The end result - a perfect cappuccino. Clean up is very easy. An added bonus is that this Kitchenaid espresso machine looks amazing in my kitchen.

It's very well built and made espresso making easy. Had no issues with the grinding and everything seem to work great! A+ kitchenaid!
