Amazing griddle!

Bought it 2 month ago and I have to say this griddle performs amazing! It heats up very quick and well!
Heat distribution is pretty even.
This griddle is on the heavier side nevertheless it's built durable and I like how it's looks!

Uneven heating

This griddle generally works well. It's solidly build and the top works nicely after a quick seasoning product.
Unfortunately the even heating advertised is not true. The left side (over the left burner) does not get as hot as the right side (over the right burner). The difference is anywhere from 50 to 100 degrees on my griddle. This makes a big impact when trying to achieve an even cool when using the whole surface. This is so big of a difference that I thought my griddle was defective but Weber support says it's normal.
Also the griddle is pretty heavy and big. It's pretty hard to carry for a single person because of the combination of the weight and size. I'm a normal sized man and I struggle to get my arms around it. My wife certainly can't carry it. Some sort if carrying handle would have made it a lot easier. It also takes up a lot of space because of the shelf that sticks out.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

So far, I love my griddle. The seasoning went well, and nothing sticks. It is easy to use. The griddle slate is heavy, so the entire griddle and housing have to be moved in two pieces, so not really all that "portable". I do wish I could get a waterproof cover for it, and like the Traveler Grill, a rolling, foldable cart. Overall, though I love it.

Portable? No.....

Bought this for camping, tailgating and back yard patio - since it say's Portable right in the title. For a backyard patio this would work if you need to move it over a little bit or to a different location once in a blue moon. But, this is not at all portable enough to be used as a tailgate griddle due to weight and size. I am sure it's a wonderful product, but this has to go back to purchaser due to misleading title alone.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
